أجرى رئيس الحكومة الإسبانية،بيدرو سانشيز أمس الثلاثاء 28 نونبر، إتصالا هاتفيا مع نظيره المغربي عزيز أخنوش. وكتب سانشيز على منصة ” إكس ” لقد “اتفقنا على أهمية الصداقة بين إسبانيا والمغرب. ونرغب في تعزيز جدول الأعمال الثنائي المتفق عليه واستكشاف الفرص الجديدة التي تتيحها هذه العلاقة المتجددة.
وتابع رئيس الحكومة الاسبانية سنعمل أيضا على تعزيز علاقة أوثق بين المغرب والاتحاد الأوروبي” ويتولى رئيس الحكومة الاسبانية الرئاسة الدورية للاتحاد الأوروبي إلى غاية 31 دجنبر 2023.
من جانبه، أكد أخنوش على نفس المنصة أن المكالمة الهاتفية ركزت على “تعزيز المرحلة الجديدة للشراكة الاستراتيجية بين المغرب وإسبانيا، والقائمة على أسس حسن الجوار والثقة المتبادلة والحوار الدائم والبناء”.
كما هنأ أخنوش بيدرو سانشيز على إعادة إنتخابه رئيسا للحكومة الإسبانية. وهي إعادة انتخاب تطمئن المغرب. منذ 18 مارس 2022، تدعم إسبانيا خطة الحكم الذاتي المغربية في الصحراء.
