    «آبل» تواجه دعاوى قضائية جماعية في بريطانيا بسبب عمر البطارية

    خسرت شركة آبل محاولة لإسقاط دعوى قضائية ضدها أمام إحدى المحاكم في لندن بتهمة تضليل العملاء بشأن أداة إدارة الطاقة المثيرة للجدل في هواتفها الذكية آيفون.

    وأصدرت محكمة استئناف المنافسة البريطانية المعنية بالتعامل مع الدعاوى الجماعية في بريطانيا قرارها اليوم الأربعاء، بأنه يمكن المضي قدماً في نظر الدعوى المقامة ضد آبل.

    وطالب محامو آبل برفض الدعوى على أساس أن الأجهزة محل الشكوى كانت دون المستوى المطلوب.

    في المقابل تقول الدعوى إن آبل أساءت استغلال وضعها المسيطر في السوق وقالت لعملائها إن تحديث برمجياتها منذ أواخر 2016 سيؤدي إلى إطالة عمر البطارية، في حين أن التحديث خنق الأجهزة ببطء.

    ونقلت وكالة بلومبرج للأنباء عن متحدث باسم آبل بعد صدور قرار المحكمة «لم ولن نقوم بأي شيء مقصود يؤدي لتقصير عمر أي من منتجات آبل، ولا تخفيض تجربة العملاء لدفعهم لتحديث الأجهزة».

    من ناحيته قال جاستن جوتمان خبير التسويق والذي أقام الدعوى نيابة عن مستخدمي آيفون في بريطانيا إن آبل ألغت أداة إدارة الطاقة في التحديثات لكي تخفي حقيقة أن البطاريات في هذه الأجهزة لن تكون قادرة على التعامل مع متطلبات تشغيل البرامج الجديدة على الأجهزة.

    وأضاف جوتمان، إن هذا يمهد الطريق أمام الملايين من العملاء الذين اضطروا لشراء بطاريات بديلة أو هواتف جديدة للحصول على تعويضات من آبل.
