استهدفت القوات المسلحة الملكية المغربية في عملية عسكرية دقيقة مواقع تابعة لجبهة البوليساريو داخل المنطقة العازلة، ما أسفر عن مقتل ثلاثة من عناصر الجبهة.
الهجوم، الذي نفذته طائرة مسيرة مغربية، جاء ردا على تحركات مشبوهة للميليشيات الانفصالية، في إطار استراتيجية الردع التي تتبناها المملكة لحماية حدودها وضمان استقرار المناطق الجنوبية.
وتشهد المنطقة العازلة توترا مستمرا بسبب خروقات البوليساريو لاتفاق وقف إطلاق النار، فيما تؤكد الرباط التزامها بالدفاع عن سيادتها، محذرة من أن أي استفزازات عدائية ستُواجه برد صارم.
