كشفت السلطات الأمنية، أن عناصر الشرطة بالمنطقة الإقليمية للأمن بالمهدية التابعة لولاية أمن القنيطرة، اضطرت لاستعمال أسلحتها الوظيفية، خلال الساعات الأولى من صباح اليوم السبت، وذلك خلال تدخل أمني لتوقيف شخص يبلغ من العمر 28 سنة، كان في حالة سكر متقدمة واندفاع قوي، وعرض أمن المواطنين وسلامة عناصر الشرطة لتهديد جدي وخطير باستعمال السلاح الأبيض.
وذكر بلاغ للمديرية العامة للأمن الوطني، أن دوريات للشرطة كانت قد تدخلت من أجل توقيف المشتبه فيه الذي عرض والده للضرب والجرح البليغين بواسطة السلاح الأبيض على مستوى العنق، حيث واجه عناصر الأمن بمقاومة عنيفة باستعمال سكين وأداة راضة، وهو ما اضطر مفتشي شرطة إلى استعمال سلاحهما الوظيفي وإطلاق رصاصات تحذيرية، وذلك قبل إصابة المعني بالأمر على مستوى أطرافه السفلى.
وأضاف المصدر ذاته، أن الاستعمال الاضطراري للسلاح الوظيفي، مكن من ضبط المشتبه فيه وتحييد الخطر الناتج عنه وحجز الأسلحة التي كانت بحوزته، قبل أن يتم الاحتفاظ به رهن المراقبة الطبية بالمستشفى المحلي الذي نقل إليه لتلقي العلاجات الضرورية، وذلك في انتظار إخضاعه لبحث تمهيدي من قبل فرقة الشرطة القضائية تحت إشراف النيابة العامة المختصة، من أجل تحديد باقي الأفعال الإجرامية المنسوبة إليه.
