تمكنت عناصر الشرطة بالمنطقة الإقليمية للأمن بمدينة الصويرة، يوم أمس الأحد 11 أكتوبر الجاري، من توقيف شخص يبلغ من العمر 36 سنة، ينحدر من إحدى دول إفريقيا جنوب الصحراء، وذلك للاشتباه في ارتباطه بشبكة إجرامية تنشط في تنظيم الهجرة غير المشروعة والاتجار بالبشر.
وقد أسفرت عملية التفتيش المنجزة بمنزل المشتبه فيه عن حجز زورق مطاطي ومحرك بحري وبوصلة وأربع مضخات وكمية من البنزين، علاوة على ضبط مرشح للهجرة السرية بداخل نفس المسكن، بعدما كان يستعد للتحضير لعملية للهجرة غير المشروعة عبر المسالك البحرية.
وتأتي هذه العملية الأمنية على خلفية الأبحاث والتحريات المنجزة في قضية تتعلق بتنظيم الهجرة غير المشروعة والاتجار بالبشر تم خلالها ضبط 23 مرشحا للهجرة السرية ينحدرون من دول إفريقيا جنوب الصحراء.
وقد تم الاحتفاظ بالمشتبه فيه الأجنبي تحت تدبير الحراسة النظرية على خلفية البحث التمهيدي المنجز تحت إشراف النيابة العامة المختصة، وذلك لتحديد جميع الامتدادات والارتباطات الدولية لهذه الشبكة الإجرامية.
