    ونجح المنتخب النيجيري في حسم التأهل لصالحه بفوزه 4-2 بركلات الترجيح بعد انتهاء المباراة بأشواطها الأربعة بالتعادل بهدف لكل فريق.

    وتلتقي نيجيريا في النهائي مع الفائز من مباراة نصف النهائي الثانية التي ستقام في وقت لاحق اليوم بين كوت ديفوار المضيفةـ والكونغو الديمقراطية.
