أعربت مجموعة الصداقة البرلمانية المكسيكية – المغربية، بمجلس النواب المكسيكي، عن دعمها للعملية السلمية التي نفذتها المملكة المغربية «لتأمين المعبر الحدودي للكركرات، وإعادة إرساء حركة التنقل المدني والتجاري، ومنع عمليات التسلل، بشكل دائم ومستدام، إلى هذه المنطقة».
وأكدت المجموعة البرلمانية، التي تترأسها النائبة عن حزب اليسار الحاكم (مورينا)، ماريا ديل كارمن باوتيستا بيلايز، أنها «تتابع باهتمام كبير تطور الوضع في منطقة الكركرات المفتوحة الآن أمام حركة العبور الدولي».
وبعد أن أعربت عن قلقها إزاء احترام القانون الدولي، أشادت المجموعة بعملية الحكومة المغربية لوضع حد لحالة التوتر هاته، وإعادة الاستقرار في هذه المنطقة، وذلك وفقا لقرارات مجلس الأمن التابع للأمم المتحدة.
كما أعرب نواب هذه المجموعة عن «دعمهم المعنوي لشعب المغرب الشقيق ولصاحب الجلالة الملك محمد السادس، لتحمله مسؤولية السيطرة على هذه المنطقة».
وتعمل مجموعة الصداقة البرلمانية المكسيكية-المغربية، التي تأسست في أكتوبر 2019، من أجل تحقيق التقارب بين البلدين، ولا سيما من خلال تعزيز التعاون البرلماني.
